Female tackle football: the Nevada Storm interviews with four players

Carson City – With the kickoff to the NFL and college football seasons still months away, the often overlooked (and sometimes maligned) world of amateur football has a long history in this country; from the XFL to USFL when speaking of “off-brand” professionals, to the smaller and more regional leagues filled with unpaid players looking for a chance to continue their careers – no matter how unglamorous – anywhere there’s a team. Reno has experience with the latter with the indoor football-playing Reno Barons or the Silverbacks or maybe even the Nevada Dream who started in Virginia City. All of these teams are now defunct, but the Nevada Storm, an all female tackle football team is headed to the playoff in Houston Texas later this month.
