IWFL Welcomes Rocky Mountain Thunder Katz

Round Rock, Texas –The IWFL is pleased to announce it has awarded a new team membership to Dennis Daugherty representing the Rocky Mountain Thunder Katz. The Thunder Katz will begin play as an expansion full member team in 2015 with a full schedule of exciting games.

“Dennis brings a wealth of business experience and a true passion for football to the league. As an established team they will be a solid member of the new IWFL Mountain Division,” said Kezia Disney, IWFL Chief Operating Officer.  

The Rocky Mountain Thunder Katz will offer women an opportunity to learn to play full tackle football and compete at the national level. The team will play regionally in Colorado and surrounding states during the regular season. The schedule will feature match ups with some of the best teams in the sport as well as other new expansion IWFL teams.

“We are excited to be a part of the New Mountain Division in the IWFL and look forward to the growth and competition right here in Colorado.  We believe the stability and brand will provide us with a stronger product for our fans and the teams that will visit us here in Colorado.” stated Dennis Daugherty, Rocky Mountain Thunder Katz owner and IWFL Delegate.

Upcoming Tryouts will be held on Sept 20,21st from 10-12 and October 25th, 26th at Garden Ranch Park and YMCA, 2380 Montebello Dr. C/S. Co 80918
